How to Enroll in a University in Azerbaijan

Required Documents for Admission

To apply to a university, you need to prepare the following documents:

  1. Application addressed to the rector (stating your chosen program, language, and form of study)
  2. Notarized copy of your diploma or high school certificate with grades (apostilled or legalized + translated into Azerbaijani)
  3. Medical certificate (including tests for HIV, Hepatitis B and C)
  4. International passport
  5. Proof of residence
  6. Six 3×4 cm photos
  7. Language proficiency certificate (if available)
  8. Copies of diplomas, awards, or certificates (optional)

Student Visa and Residence Permit (TRP)

Once you are admitted, you will receive an official invitation from the university, which serves as the basis for your student visa. Upon arrival in Azerbaijan, we assist you in obtaining a one-year temporary residence permit (TRP) with the right to renew it.

Important: A TRP based on education is a legal way to reside in Azerbaijan without the need for investment or employment.

Ali Abdullayev

Head of Sales Department

Ali Abdullayev is a specialist with strong expertise in sales, logistics, and business management. He graduated from the Azerbaijan State Technical University and started his career in hospitality (2012–2020), progressing to lead roles in a foreign transport company, where he oversaw accounting and logistics for over five years.
