Every company in Azerbaijan needs a legal address. It is where the company is registered, where it is placed on the tax register and where state bodies and partners reach it \u2014 so the address deserves the same attention as the charter.<\/p>\n
Short answer:<\/strong> The legal address is where the company’s permanently acting body is located. Registration requires the original of an address document \u2014 usually a title document or lease agreement, or the owner’s consent if the premises belong to someone else. The company is tax-registered at this address; a change of address must be registered within 15 working days.<\/p>\n The State Tax Service, which registers commercial legal entities, defines the legal address as information on where the company’s permanently acting body is located. The address goes into the state register and is then used in all dealings with the state: under Article 33.1 of the Tax Code, legal entities are registered with the tax authorities at their location \u2014 the legal address stated in the state registration documents \u2014 specifically to ensure tax control.
